Welcome to the McLeod Lab! We will officially open our doors in August 2025 in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati. Our research focuses on two primary areas: 1) how enzymes respond to changing temperature and pressure, and 2) how enzyme structure evolves to adjust and optimize function. We utilize enzyme kinetics along with a variety of traditional and novel structural biology methods to explore the connection between structure and function.
